Great experience! Exactly as listed. The only thing that would have made our stay better was blinds or curtains on the windows. It was scary at night knowing that people could see in.

This little cottage looks just like the pictures inside. It is cozy and well decorated; not too little, not too much but just right! It was clean and well stocked with linens and towels. Both beds were comfortable with nice sheets and quilts. I want to elaborate on the kitchen. It was probably the best supplied kitchen I have ever seen in a rental home. All of the dishes, pots and pans, baking dishes, utensils, knives, tableware, glasses and appliances were very nice and practically new. The kitchen was not missing anything that we needed. Actually, there was a lot of things we didn't even use but it was nice to have them should we have needed them. We were very impressed by the extra care they have put into the kitchen! We will definitely rent again if we are in the area. PS Oh, one or two more things! There was ice in the 2 ice trays in the freezer! This was a real plus on a hot day! And the well water was really good!
Very happy with the property and amenities. Fire pit is a big plus.

My family (2 adults, teenager, tween) stayed here on a family trip to the Luray area. This well-furnished, clean, cozy little place is far enough away to serve as a getaway from the NoVA hustle and bustle, but close enough (20 mins) to Luray to be a good staging point for a family vacation in the area.
One of the biggest and unexpected perks that it is almost literally across the street from Shenandoah River Outfitters, so if canoeing or kayaking the river is something you want to do, this place is ideal. The fire pit made for a nice evening, one night during our stay. The gravel road to access the property, while in good repair, is steep enough to pose a challenge to those on street or touring motorcycles.
Not really a complaint, but we were wishing there were curtains or blinds on the living room's south-facing windows to provide a bit more privacy from the house next door.
Absolutely would stay in this property again if I found myself in the local area once more.
