The home was a beautiful log cabin on a quiet street, divided into two units. The unit we stayed in was the perfect size for our family of 3. Slick in gas fireplace, large kitchen and gas stove/oven were perfect. The dog friendly aspect is great! Couple in other section had a puppy and all the dogs played and played. Tenant had a dog too, as well as neighbors who were friendly. Just one black and white pooch was not, and the neighbor allowed him to roam free. We had to go in for fear he would start a fight. But that was just once. The land and fire pit are beautifully maintained and clear for activities. There’s even a path in the back woods. Don, the wonder, was very nice and helpful when we needed him. His little dog, Rufus,is just so sweet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My husband and I and our dogs Tucker and Bruno had a very relaxing week in this charming cabin. The Cabin is part of a bigger house but with a master bedroom, loft and big kitchen and living area, there was plenty of room for all of us.
We spent the week hiking the National Park and even though the weather did not cooperate, we had no complaints about the accommodations. The location is about 10 minutes away from Luray and the drive there is a beautiful one on back country roads. There was a big back yard for the dogs and a nice screened in porch for sitting and eating.
Thanks Don for a great stay!
