Cozy getaway
4/5 Cozy cabin with beautiful grounds. Remote location but many things to do in the area within a reasonable drive. Lower level does not heat nearly as well as upstairs. A space heater was provided for each bedroom but circuit kept tripping when running both.

Labor Day Retreat
5/5 My wife, another couple and I were looking for a long weekend away and this fit the bill. Close to several state parks where we went hiking plus a quiet getaway. We loved it.

Lovely Place in the Woods
4/5 We loved the screened in porch! We spent every evening after hiking listening to music and visiting out there. It stormed for hours one night and it was fantastic to sit out there and watch it all around us. It was nice and quiet during our stay. There is another home nearby that shares the driveway, but the lush green trees kept it from our view. My son saw a bear a few minutes from the property. It was fun to be out in the middle of nowhere. Everything was more than adequate for our simple needs.

Weekend in the mountains
5/5 Beautiful spot with natural canopy. The screened porch was a favorite spot to listen to the birds and the breeze in the trees. We had a lovely weekend and hope to return!

Just right!
5/5 We had a lovely stay. My son loved the downstairs twin room and Gram thought the upstairs bedroom was very comfortable. I also slept downstairs; we definitely needed to use the space heaters in the lower bedrooms.The enclosed porches were very nice, although it was cool and damp so we weren’t hanging out there much - I could see them being used in warmer weather. Kitchen, dining area and living space were all clean, comfortable and we were able to enjoy home cooked meals, games and tv time.
