Giving Back

Staying in our homes helps others stay in theirs.

Building Hospitality in Practice and in Impact

Hospitality is the art of making someone feel welcome. But some of our neighbors — the elderly, people with disabilities, veterans, and others — don’t even feel welcome in their own homes. We want to help change that by repairing homes and transforming neighborhoods nationwide. That’s why we’ve created our Corporate Social Responsibility program, Building Hospitality.

Whenever you book a stay at Evolve.com, we’ll commit to donating one percent of the total nightly rates toward improving standards of living and keeping your neighbors in the homes they love nationwide. We’ll also be out in the community, working as a team to help repair and beautify homes and common areas that need it, Building Hospitality in our own backyard.

We started this company 10 years ago because we believe that everyone deserves a safe, clean, and comfortable home when they travel. Now we’re helping to make that a reality for as many people as possible, traveling or not. Together, we can restore the dignity of healthy housing to our most at-risk neighbors.

We’ll donate 1% of every stay booked at Evolve.com to keep people in the homes they love.

Our Partners in Building Hospitality

We work with amazing organizations like Rebuilding Together to bring existing homes back to comfortable living standards. Since 1988, we’ve worked with over 4 million volunteers to repair over 200,000 buildings. That’s a transformational change in neighborhoods that keep people in the homes they love and strengthens communities nationwide.

Hospitality Every Day, Every Stay

We see this program as a natural expansion of our everyday focus on hospitality. For more than a decade, we’ve helped our guests have memorable experiences in homes they love. Now we’re able to extend our spirit of hospitality to the people who need it most, and our guests can feel great knowing that staying in our homes helps others stay in theirs.

Thanks for making a difference, wherever you roam.

Building Hospitality is our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. We view hospitality as the art of making someone feel welcome. But some of our neighbors — the elderly, people with disabilities, veterans, low-income households, and others — don’t even feel welcome in their own homes. We want to help change that by repairing homes and revitalizing communities nationwide by donating a portion of all Evolve direct bookings. Learn more.

Put simply, it’s the right thing to do. We’re working to become the most trusted hospitality brand in vacation rental, and we know that trust can’t exist without care. This is one way for us to care for the many communities we’re a part of across the country.

We also see our Building Hospitality program as an expansion of the hospitality that we already provide on a daily basis. Our team has spent the last decade extending hospitality to guests, partners, and homeowners — now we’re extending it to the people and communities that need it most. Learn more.

Our initial commitment is to donate 1% of the total nightly rates before any taxes and fees for completed stays booked directly with Evolve. This will be made through cash and in-kind donations and there will be no cap on the amount donated.

In the example above, the total nightly rates amount to $2,343.00 before any taxes and fees. Therefore, Evolve would commit to a donation value of $23.43 (1% of $2,343.00) related to this stay after check-in. Learn more.

We anticipate donating over $1M through cash and in-kind donations to Building Hospitality during the first full year of the program. In-kind donations will include, but are not limited to, paid employee volunteer time in contribution to Building Hospitality initiatives. The exact amount of total donations may be more or less, depending on the value of eligible direct bookings that check-in over that timeframe. Learn more.
