For starters "walking distance" to the lake is very wrong . The lake up the road is mostly private property so only allowed at fishing dock on opposite side from cabin ( not walking distance ). Ended up going to Show low lake really nice scenery. The cabin : Kitchen sink faucet was broken notified the contact when we first got here said would send handy man over never came . the fridge ice machine would make a really loud knocking sound every 15-20 minutes like wood pecking bird , very annoying . Hot water did not last long had to spread out shower times for all party's to get a warm shower , water pressure really low . Table chairs had rips and sunken seats very uncomfortable . Cabin its self is a house on a main road in congested neighborhood , neighbors called cops for us being too loud . police were very nice and just asked us to keep music inside after 8:00pm . HOUSE its self had plenty of room loved the open space and two living rooms , the extra bathrooms upstairs was very handy for the large group we had . Back yard space was fun with some wood provided two grills and even had sticks for marshmallows .. Over all our Trip was fun , a few updates from the owner desperately need to be done . I for are looking for a secluded or at least able to be a little loud outside this is not the HOUSE for you .

  • Could be better!

Home was not cleaned properly, a lot of dust inside the house and spider webs. furniture was ripped or damaged, cleaning fee was close to $300 and we were still required to tidy up the place before leaving. The yard needed to be cleaned we ended up sweeping off the back porch!

  • Nice but needs a little work

    5/5

We were four senior couples who are all friends. The house is fabulous. Very, very large with lots of nooks and crannies for people to get away by themselves as well as big group spaces. The kitchen is one of the best stocked of any that I have ever stayed at. Everything that we needed (and trust me we are all cooks and pretty fussy) was there in multiples. Lots of plates and silverware. Spices and baking essentials in the huge pantry. The only thing we were lacking was wine/juice glasses so we went down to the Goodwill and got some and left them there for future guests. We did have an issue while we were there, but the management and the owner were extremely helpful and all was resolved. Concerning a previous review, there are plenty of outdoor chairs and we found the showers to be fine. By the way there are two gas grill although we never ended up using them. Overall I think this is a wonderful choice for a large group. there
