Beautiful A-Frame on Mountain Road
5/5 The house and surroundings are beautiful. Plenty of room for up to 8 people. Just stop for groceries and the house has everything you need to cook your meals inside or out on the grill. 45 min drive to Breckinridge from the house. You will want to make as few trips to the property as possible. During our stay the 5-6 mile drive from the highway was very rough. Some sections had so many deep potholes that you constantly drove in the oncoming lane to try and avoid them. The car and passengers take a beating. We have a 4 wheel drive SUV and the washboards lived up to their name. Didn't see much wildlife other than deer during our visit. As we left for home we did have a moose cross in front of us just down the road from the house. There is a hiking trail located on the road right behind the cabin. Drive this road until it ends. The trail takes you to the summit of Pennsylvania Mt. Not a technical hike but has some elevation gain that will get your heart and lungs pumping.

Is a perfect place
5/5 Definitely renting again, It was an unforgettable experience for my family. The cabin had everything we might need. Steve was very attentive to our arrival and when we had a problem with our truck helped us immediately .. We loved the place ... Thanks ..

5/5 Great place to zone out. We love this place due to privacy, cleanliness and just the right house design where it kept us warm during the unusual heavy snow in September. The fireplace was awesome and added just the right touch. Location is fairly convenient to Fairplay town where we hit the local brewery and grocery. Watch for those wonderful wildlife such as birds/squirrel/chipmunk. We did see dear/elk/bear tracks and if you are lucky enough, you might see them for yourself, but just make sure you keep your distance and your doors lock.

August 2020 Colorado Trip
5/5 It is an amazing place!! We thoroughly enjoyed this home. It had everything we needed or wanted. Amazing views, very comfortable inside and out. We would definitely stay there again!!!!
