Mid-town Stay
4/5 Two friends using the house as a base for birding Tucson and SE Arizona for a week. Convenient location toward west side of town, a bit of a drive to Catalina mountain and park sites, very easy I-10 access. Very prompt host responses and the property was very clean. There is a 5' or higher chain link fence and rolling (thru gravel) gate across the front and sides that gives the impression of being in a rough neighborhood, which is not the case. We couldn't tell what we were fencing in or out. Three spacious bedrooms, two baths, good showers, private though undeveloped back yard. New appliances, full-size washer/dryer. The kitchen was not fully stocked, or at least we didn't find items like scissors, cutting board and colander, but as many time VRBO renters we regularly bring several of these items as rentals vary. Location was quiet, no barking dogs. The house is sparsely furnished as a rental, rather than as the renter's home. Smart tv, no satellite or cable. Overall it worked perfectly for our purposes and we would rent again.
