  • Nice area but house not maintained well

    It was not what I expected. The house was not very clean or very safe. Communications with manager of the house was very poor. I called her 4 times for info and she never responded.

    - Cleanliness: I agree that the prior cleaning service was not meeting our standards. Since your stay, we’ve hired a new cleaner who has already made a noticeable difference.
    - Safety: The home is in a well-regarded neighborhood, and we haven’t received past concerns about safety. That said, I’m reaching out to learn more about what felt unsafe to you so we can address it.

    A comfortable, well supplied, very clean and beautifully decorated property. The owner was very responsive to any question or concerns. Always answered her phone and replied to text messages promptly and thoroughly. Would definitely stay here again if we visit the area in the future. The only thing I didn't care for was dealing with double rental companies, Evolve and VRBO. Extra fees for no extra benefit...

  • South Padre Vacation

    Overall, the area is great if you are visiting South Padre. The Townhome was quiet and we never heard the neighbors. The issues I had made me uncomfortable and I will not stay here again. One, the master bathroom was not 100% clean, there was hair in shower and on sink, the toilet seat needs to be replaced, there were cobwebs and spiders in kitchen area, the light on patio did not work. The major issue was that we left Friday morning to go on a guided fishing trip and when we returned that night the front door was open and there was a Walmart order with owners name on the bags. The bags were just left on table. No note. Nothing. I had to wait outside with our daughter while my husband cleared the townhome with his gun. This is unacceptable. Why would someone need to go in the unit without us calling for service? Then I called the management contact which was owner and did not receive a call back until 24 hours later and then she leaves a message that she doesn’t know anyone from Kansas and she is going to delete the number. Talk about great customer service there and let’s not address that your door was left wide open with peoples personal belongings in there. Then I check out Sunday morning and I get a call at 10:49pm and a text message at 10:05pm asking if a repair was done. Horrible experience. Definitely not worth what I paid.

    - The issue with the Walmart order was due to a miscommunication with a friend who mistakenly thought the property was vacant. We agree this was unacceptable and regret the distress it caused.
    - The delay in returning your call was due to an assumption that it was a spam call. We sincerely apologize for the oversight and understand your frustration.
    - The late-night message regarding a repair was intended for the next guest and was sent in error.
