• Just What I Thought

  For this being available one month prior to our stay at the end of June, I can see why it was available. I agree with the last review about the cleanliness and hot tub temp being way inaccurate. The porches were dirty with everything from dust, a dead bird and sawdust like piles on the third floor. The downstairs bed was certainly not a king and felt triangle shaped so worn out on the edges so if you rolled over, it felt like you’d roll off. My kids complained about the bunk beds comfort before I did. I will say our host responded very promptly when the AC stopped cooling the house. Big red flag when it was 95 out and couldn’t keep up. Now I will say the location of the cabin was awesome and this cabin has great potential, but door hinges falling off, furniture falling apart, it could be so much more, especially for the price paid. Game machine was fun, no foosball table despite being in pictures, pool table worn out and uneven, we made it work and had fun, just probably won’t stay here again.

• Nice but Dirty

  Overall, this is a nice cabin. It is in a nice location and has nice amenities.

  The cabin was dirty; however. In all of the years visiting Gatlinburg and the many cabins we have stayed in, this has to be the dirtiest of them all. There were cowebs everywhere even in common places. There was laundry still in the washer and dryer. There was salt all over the dining room table. There were bugs in the jacuzzi tub.

  The hot tub was extremely hot for the displayed temperature. This may be a malfunction.

  I will say our guest contact was responsive and offered to clean the cabin.

  -Your feedback is invaluable to us as it allows us to make necessary adjustments.. We have received similar feedback regarding the cleaning and had previously addressed these concerns with the onsite cleaning team and local host. As a result, we have taken additional corrective action to replace both the cleaning service and the local host to better reflect the standards we uphold.
  -Regarding the functionality of the hot tub, we had previously raised this concern with the former local host, but it appears this issue was unresolved during your stay. Our new local host has already taken steps to address this by contacting a local hot tub contractor, and the control console has been replaced.
  -As homeowners, we would have preferred a direct phone call to us (owner contact) to address these issues promptly during your stay. We understand these corrective actions come to post your visit in hindsight; however, your feedback is instrumental in ensuring a smoother experience for future guests.

  Carpenter bees were really bad. Dirty under couches with food. Hot tub temperature was not working properly. Way too hot for the temp that it was! It was cool place just those few things. Bed was comfy

• Beautiful cabin

  Clean, lots of room, pool table and games nice for kids. Location was easy to find only bad thing was on certain days the nearby dump smell was pretty strong outside.

  Nice decks with swings and rockers.

  Kitchen had a nice supply of dishes to use.
