  My family and I stayed March 17-21, 2024. The key code would not open the door. Called guest services and they remotely unlocked it and said it was reset. Went to leave and hour later and the door would not lock. Called guest services again, they remote locked it and called for a service technician. When we came back from dinner the technician had been to the cabin and left a big note on the door with our new key code. Major safety issue! My husband had to go thru the cabin to make sure no one was in there and stuff had not been stolen. Pool table was soaking wet. There is NO shuffleboard table...as seen in the pics. My son was very disappointed. There is a jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bedroom.....with a sign that says the jets do not work, sorry. NONE of this was disclosed in the listing. I feel like I was lied to and tricked. The outside hot tub is old and top is broken. The jets barely make any bubbles. Again, just another disappointment. The road to the cabin is absolutely terrible! I would suggest a 4 wheel drive if you want to save your tires and brakes. I sent an email and got no response. I called on the 22nd and got no response. I listed all the issues we had and asked for a partial refund. But no one wants to talk to me now. We would never stay in this cabin or with these people ever again!!

• Unresponsive Host and No Hot Tub

  I was sadly disappointed by this cabin. There were several major issues and a few small issues that complicated our stay. Firstly, the paper and hygiene products that we expected to have upon our arrival were not supplied until later that evening, and they came in rather short supply - only two dishwasher pods and paper towel rolls. We also had to supply our own hand washing materials for cookware that was unsuitable for the dishwasher. Additionally, there was no mixing bowl, which made cooking difficult. There are two bathrooms in this cabin, but only one worked. The downstairs bathroom sink had little to no water pressure, and the toilet would not flush properly, requiring a plunger for every use. All of the people staying had to use one bathroom, which is too many people per bathroom. The TV remote barely worked, none of the Roku remotes worked, and the tv had no HDMI cable to connect the Roku to it. If we hadn't brought a HDMI by chance, we would not have been able to use the tv. The most major issue was the hot tub. We largely chose this location for its hot tub, for which we paid a premium relative to other options we were considering. Unfortunately, the hot tub was unusable for the entire duration of our stay due to a high amount of dirt/sediment in the basin. The hot tub appeared to not have been cleaned for a long time prior to our stay as the dirt appeared stuck to the walls and the water was dirty with stuff floating in it. It was completely unusable because of the nasty state of the water. This all was despite the sign on the hot tub saying it was drained, cleaned, and refilled between each stay. Additionally, the hot tub was set as warm as it could be but the water was only lukewarm throughout our stay. When we reached out to the host, they tried to blame the issue on weather that had come through during our stay despite the hot tub being dirty before the weather came through. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this cabin due to the state of the hot tub and downstairs bathroom and the reluctance of the VRBO host to remedy this situation. I asked for a partial refund due to the hot tub and downstairs plumbing situation, and now the host is ghosting my messages. If you plan to stay here, be prepared to experience a similar silence and refusal to address issues during your stay in this cabin.

  • Our apologies that certain items were missed while the cleaning team was restocking our home. A late check-out of a prior guest limited the time available to clean and prepare for your arrival. Upon your request, we immediately provided these items.

  • The water system for our home is on a well, which was affected by bad weather. Our neighbors experienced the same issue, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
