• A Pleasant Stay With A Few Issues

  Overall we had a good stay and liked the cabin. But in the name of full disclosure for the benefit of other future renters, I want to mention a few issues we had.

  First, the bathrooms didn't have locks. Now we've been married 26 years and had 3 kids, but we don't want to walk in on each other downloading. Either did our teenagers sharing the other bathrooms. No locks was ridiculous.

  The pool table was a major deciding factor on this property. The kids talked about it for months. But we found the cloth top of the table worn out and pitted, making playing pool right, basically impossible. And the dartboard darts were all broken. Basically the game room was completely unusable.

  We like to cook all our meals on vacation, but we struggled on this trip. First, all the pans they had were very small, and very worn out. Everything stuck like glue. It was terrible. Second, from Day 1, when we tried to use the microwave, it smelled like burning electronics and didn't warm the food at all. I let them know about it, and it finally got replaced 3 days later, the day before we left. So we had no microwave for almost the whole stay.

  Lastly, the hot tub. We all really like forward to it, as we always enjoy it on previous trips at other cabins. But this hot tub, well, the water stunk and the floor of the tub was oily and gritty. And the water level was at least 6" too low, that the top jets were exposed and not under water. It was like the water was never changed or checked on from before.

  - The pool table will be refelted soon to ensure a better playing experience. Although the darts were in working order before your stay, we have replaced the broken darts.
  - The pots and pans were not stuck. The kitchen is fully stocked for every guest.
  - Regarding the microwave, it was replaced within 24 hours of the reported issue. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
  - The hot tub is drained and cleaned after each stay. Water levels can drop due to guests entering, exiting, or splashing around. We would have addressed the water level issue during your stay if notified.
  
  We encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right. The local contact would have been happy to assist with any of these issues. Regardless, thank you for your insight as we improve for future guests.

  We enjoyed our stay with our family of 9. The kids really enjoyed the game room. It was a perfect location to go to Dollywood and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Would stay here again!

  We enjoyed our stay with our family of 9. The kids really enjoyed the game room. It was a perfect location to go to Dollywood and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Would stay here again!

• Birthday vacation

  The pictures on the website makes the cabin appear larger. The internet is Horrible and we used the information that was provided and still not successful,too many doors too secluded and alot of things that needed to be fixed and cleaned like it was several hot tubs towels dirty and when we arrived it was rainy the floor was wet need to have some rugs at the door for wiping your feet upon entering the home. Unable to use the

  grill due to it being broken and top of

  grill lid on the ground fill of water. As a family the time together was priceless. The owner need to check their property often.

  -Regarding the picnic grill, it is securely cemented into the ground and is in good working condition. We're unsure about the mention of a missing cover, as there isn't one associated with the grill.
  -We regret that you did not reach out to us during your stay to address any concerns or issues. We are always available to assist our guests and would have been more than happy to help resolve any problems you encountered.
