Wedding in the mountains!!!
5/5 We had a great time at Wandering Bear!!! The cabin is spacious and wonderfully laid out, the NBA JAM and foosball table took us back to our childhood days!!! We went to Pigeon Forge to get married and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us to stay comfortably. We got to see a bear on our 2nd night and enjoyed turkeys and many different wildlife while there. It is secluded at the end of the drive and absolutely peaceful and relaxing!!! The cabin was spotless and ready for us with easy check-in and check-out.

The Hideaway
4/5 Beautiful home from top to bottom. The stairs could use 2 more steps at the bottom. Please spray or set traps as we had spider bites that we had to go to the clinic for that turned into large rashes. Google maps would not identify the split that leads to the cabin. That means the Google Driver didn't go on your street. Overall, this is a great property with awesome amenities and i would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing!!
5/5 It was awesome and just what was needed!! The wildlife was incredible! The hot tub was perfect and secluded. The home was warm and inviting with three bedrooms; each was on a different level for privacy, if needed. We plan on going back and bringing friends! THANK YOU!!
An amazing vacation
5/5 This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin, and if you know me, that says a lot! We had a fantastic time. We are a group of six, and we travel frequently together. This place was just perfect for our group. Everyone had their own level, their own bedroom, and their own bathroom. That’s their number one requirement. The deck on this place is amazing. We had phenomenal weather, and every afternoon we had happy hour on the deck. We sat there for hours and just talked and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We are always torn about staying in during the day at the houses we rent, versus going out and exploring for the day. On this trip, we did a combination of both. We did several easy to moderate hikes (Laurel falls is a must) during our stay, and then just sat around and enjoy the home most of the time. there’s a grill on the deck and hot tub. The bed that I slept in, was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, and I actually reached out to the owner so I can get the name of the bed! The best part of the day was my husband yelling from the living room. ‘There’s a bear! ‘ A bear walked across our driveway, in broad daylight, and gave us quite a show. He actually walked near the deck, which led to some amazing pictures. Yes, we were safely inside!!!
