Perfect for our family
5/5 The house was just right. We had 3 children with us and they loved the bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare meals.

Outstanding value
5/5 This was an outstanding value for us. About 30-40 minutes to most attractions in the area, very close to Douglas Lake. The cabin is much more than I expected for what we paid. I am pretty used to renting run down cabins to hunt or fish out of, especially out west. This place is very well maintained, there is a large pond right below the cabin on the neighbor's property; you can sit on the wrap around porch and enjoy the evening. The master bedroom and other bedroom are connected by a large walk in closet, perfect to get your luggage and gear out of the way. Very nice kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals, including an air fryer. AC works great, you can take a scalding hot shower, wash clothes, everything you need.The living room is very nice, with comfortable couches and room to relax.To keep you sane by keeping your kids satisfied, the WiFi works well and there are TVs in each room. If you are a super picky person that thinks they need to be 10 minutes from the most heavily trafficked attractions in the region, pass. If you think an owner needs to keep up with what you saw on HGTV last night because you have delusions you are some kind of interior designer, pass. If you want a nice, clean cabin with quality appliances, nice furniture, comfortable and cozy at an extremely reasonable rate , quiet in the evening, and enough room for your family to live comfortably for a week, and don't mind (or even enjoy) mountain drives, scoop it up.
