The condo was great except for cosmetic issues had to report a few things broken first thing and throughout the stay noticed some other things like the closet doors would come off track because its right behind the main entraince door. The murphy bed doors didn't line up when closed. Lock button was missing from one of the bathroom doors, bathroom strip that was in the doorway to make the floor flush was popped out and never fixed while we were there had to have a plumber visit due to a leak he left day before we showed up. The TVs really lag and even though you have a guide you don't get all the channels. You have to clean the dishes by hand with no dish soap unless you go buy it yourself because it states there is a dishwasher which there isnt. Had no parking passes available at check in so ended up getting a warning and needed to leave notes for security not to ticket or tow us until monday when we arrived on saturday. Rented a pricey golfcart and ended up having all kinds of issues due to the owner not knowing her buildings policies and renters not being allowed to have recreational vehicles in the main lot but apparently there is an overflow lot that i was not told about so in turn interrupted our downtown time to have to move the golf cart out of the main lot which we were allowed 2 parking spaces in and had to pay to park it for the last day we had it. The location was way far away from the main boardwalk attractions had to drive at least 15 minutes to everything and pay to park everywhere. WARNING do not come to myrtle beach durring a festival parking lot owners will charge you $30 at 6pm just to walk the strip thanks to the country music festival find the Meter Parking its WAYYY cheaper and you can run it from your phone. Other than all the bad stuff the room was spacious and nice for what it was just seems its very rented out and little to no upkeep on maintenance. Beautiful beach inlet right up the street very nice building and fellow vacationers whom also were from PA that actually own other units in the building were super nice and gave us their number for the future. Miss Judith handled every issue but many things were slipped through the cracks with the management of the building. Recieved nothing but a smug message back after the 3rd or 4th parking intteruption of my trip because she handled all my issues but i also had to interrupt my whole trip multiple times a day to contact miss judith about all these issues we had with parking.
Hi Stephanie, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the owner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- Thank you for bringing these maintenance concerns to our attention. We're truly sorry for the inconvenience, and we're glad we were able to address them quickly during your stay. Additionally, we have begun working with a new property management company to ensure that future guests do not share your experience.
- We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but the parking situation and HOA rules are simply out of our control. That being said, the parking passes, with detailed parking instructions on the back, should have been in your unit upon arrival. We'll make sure these parking passes are in clear view for guests when they arrive. We wish you would have contacted us for any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
- The property is centrally located on the Golden Mile and within walking distance to stores, supermarkets, and great restaurant options. The listing does state the proximity of the condo to nearby attractions, but we are sorry if this caught you off guard. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
We hope you were able to enjoy your stay despite any issues. Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve!
