• Relaxing and Rejuvenating Rental!!!!!

  My husband and I were looking forward to a relaxing, rejuvenating rental with on-site amenities. We were pleasantly surprised that the pictures and posting matched what we saw in person. Upon entering the property we felt safer being in a gated community…a different experience for us when renting. The house was welcoming with its open concept, decor, and cleanliness. After getting settled, it was refreshing to take a dip in the pool in the backyard. We later traveled to a nearby grocery store to buy groceries for dinner. We were able to cap off our night in the hot tub which is also located in the backyard after hubby prepared our meal on the grill. We enjoyed the local attractions of the mountains and hiking, waterpark, casino, and other attractions the Poconos had to offer. We loved that we had the option to travel to attractions or to just stay at the house and enjoy the amenities. We had a great time and experience and look forward to rebooking a stay at your location.

  The home itself was everything we needed! The pool was broken but this was communicated to us the week before our stay. The hot tub was nice. The community pools are also nice but require an additional payment. Lake access was mentioned on the listing, but we were unable to find access at the lake closest to the house. The tennis court closest to us was under construction, but we found another one in the j section of the community. The host was very communicative. Overall a good stay!

• False advertising, no pool, very disappointed!!

  I had booked this home a week prior to memorial day weekend specifically because it had an advertisement for a swimming pool. No where in the description did it say that the pool would be unavailable. The pool would have been ideal as we were traveling with children and it would have been so convenient to have a pool in the yard.

  My wife, out of an abundance of caution asked me to reach out to the host Tracy. I did so on Monday. 48 hours after we booked and too late to get my money back, unfortunately, but I wasnt expecting a problem.

  Tracy said "oh no, the pool wouldn't be available as they are not able to open the pool per community rules until the following Monday" (lie #1).

  She then tells me she will try to get the pool open for us (lie #2). Lo and behold the real story is that the pool is in disrepair, which Tracy clearly knew but withheld from us.

  When I asked why the listing didn't say anything she claimed that she didn't write the listing. Not my problem.

  It was too late for us to find another place given it was Memorial Day Weekend, so we just rolled with it.

  Her house interior is acceptable although it smelled like weed and there were some insect issues. Her yard was a hot mess.

  Overall, the property needs much better upkeep, she needs an exterminator, landscaper, and pool repairman.

  She did allow us an early check in and late check out, but we didn't even end up taking advantage of that, no use.

  Since we didn't have the pool we ended up using the community pool which cost us money out of our pocket which she refused to cover. The community pool was nice.

  Overall AVOID!!!

  - We are sorry to hear that you felt you were mislead, we would never deliberately do that to any of our guests. When you reached out to us we wanted to have a definitive answer about the pump replacement before we contacted you back. We were unable to get the pump replaced and it was not useable. However, we are glad you enjoyed the private hot tub and fire pit. Tracy also provided you with screenshots and explained the seasonality of the private pools as well as the HOA pool. She outlined the cost per person to use the community pool so that you were aware of this. We have since hired someone to come out and replace the pump we are just waiting for it to arrive.
  - We wish you had let us know about the odor and yard issues. We do have someone inspect after the cleaners are done and they send us photos of everything so that we know it is 100% guest-ready. We were aware of a rain storm that left debris in the back deck, but the yard is not in bad shape. We do have a lawn guy who comes out every 10 days.
  - We have an exterminator out every 2 months to prevent any pest issues.
  
  We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to strive for those 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

• Spring Break Get-A-Way

  Our stay on this property was a memorable time for us. I knew when I walked in the door that my husband and I had chosen the perfect place for our 3 day get-a-way. Each room was well furnished and every amenity anyone would want was available. The view outside the front window looking out beyond the property across the street is a breathtaking lake. We plan to make reservations this summer when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the pool.

• Birthday get-away

  From the time we arrived to checking out was very pleasant.

  It had all the comforts of home and then some to include the hot tub.

  Shopping less than 20 minutes away.

  We would recommend this Poconos get-away to others!
