  The house was inviting and comfortable.

  We were lucky to see some dear walk through the nearby property.

  The fire pit was the high point , we sat in front of the fire for 6 hours.

• Potential, but a few issues

  The house has had some work done since the pictures were taken, there is no bunk bed anymore, but the room worked fine for us. Overall the house was ok but had two big issues. The bathtub fixtures (faucet, shower head, water control) are not secured and feel like they’ll fall off when you use them, and the tub itself has no grip on the floor, so it’s uncomfortably slippery. The other major issue is the backyard; it seems like the drainage to the septic field is through a flexible plastic hose that’s just laying on the ground. When we would shower or flush the toilet, water would spout out of the hose and soak the yard. That part of the yard is permanently saturated and smells as if it’s soaked in sewage water.

• Nice Time at Arrowhead Lake

  Overall good time, would have been nice to know the washer and dryer was not working given the size of the family we had. Also pleasantly surprise by the fire pit out back as well as the patio chairs on the front porch. Saw a lot of wildlife on the property up real close.

• Arrowhead Lake Cabin

  We were very excited about this stay, however, upon arrival we quickly noticed things wrong. The couch was wet and we could not even sit on it. Towels and pillows were also wet. The washer and dryer was broken so we could not even wash towels and had to go to the store to buy clean ones. There was a room with a bunk bed but the top bunk could not be slept on because it was so wobbly I was nervous it would break with my child on it. I had to put my youngest in a full size bed with me and my husband.

  Additionally, I went to the yard to start the grill for dinner, but the igniter would not light so that could not be used either. If it was not for all of these issues I would have left a better review but we had a terrible experience in this house. I will say communication with the property manager was good in terms of quick response even though nothing was fixed during our 5 day stay. The location of the community is wonderful. 4 different lakes/beaches that are very cute and have playgrounds as well. I recommend the community arrowhead lake but definitely not this specific cabin.

• Nothing like the pictures

  I would definitely stay in this area again. The neighborhood and the amenities were lovely. However, I would absolutely never stay at this house again. It was honestly hard to sleep because I feared a spider would wake up with me. Every skylight was filled with spider webs. Every window had spiders thriving, living their best lives in them. All of the furniture was dingy. The yard was completely unusable. I thought I would able to have use the grill; which looked it has never been cleaned. The furniture also, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned ever. There was no washer nor dryer during my stay. The floors look like they never been cleaned. I did not feel comfortable cooking anything during my stay. The spiders in the kitchen outnumbered me in every corner. Pet friendly ehh. My dogs did not even feel comfortable sleeping on the floors smh.
