• Great Mountain House Getaway for all ages

  Fairly updated house with a lot of ample room, filled with activities for all. The house had some fun appliances such as a living room coffee table turned into a cooler + charging station as well as bidet’s is the bathrooms. The hot tub was a huge hit! The house was a little dusty in some spots but for the most part was clean. There was a basketball arcade type game in the basement that was broken in the legs holding it up, we just told the kids to steer clear from it to avoid injury. All in all I would definitely recommend this house to any family. George was very friendly and a huge help with the processes needed for check in requirements.

• Looks better in pictures than in person

  Don't take me wrong, the house is OK, accommodates well up to 10 or 12 people and is well equipped BUT is not as modern as it looks (in fact is pretty dated) and has some issues that I would like to report:

  - SUPER DIRTY!! This is by far the biggest issue we faced during our stay. We paid a decent amount for cleaning and the house was filthy!! Bathrooms with pee stains on the toilet, dust everywhere, gross carpet upstairs, eyelashes on a bedroom window, spyder webs every window, dust never removed on every single window. The oven and stove were completely crusty and probably never cleaned.

  - HOT WATER NOT ENOUGH for even two normal showers. Absolutely impossible to have more than one person taking a shower at the same time and more than that, after 2 showers in a row, there was no hot water anymore for at least 30 min. Definitely, the boiler is not the right size for that house.

  - UNSTABLE WI-FI. The TV in the living room constantly got disconnected from the Wi-Fi network

  - HEATING SYSTEM is very old and not reliable.

  I am giving 3 stars just because the hoster is such a nice guy and very helpful and the house was well equipped.

  - The home is equipped with the highest internet speed available, supported by boosters on both the ground and main levels.
  - We explained to you during your stay that the property has radiant heating in the ceilings, and it takes some time to heat up. However, once it has been running for a while, it works effectively.
