• Excellent getaway house.

  We will definitely use this property in the future. Game room was fun for passing time on a rainy evening. Hot tub was great! The house is very well maintained and very clean. With all the leaves on the trees it is a very private setting. The only thing I can come up with as an improvement would be to add a TV in the living room. That is just me I enjoy relaxing with a TV show or movie before going to sleep. Overall great property!

• Rough Stay in the Poconos

  -Rodent droppings, appear to be from mice. I have photos. Most on the mantle over the fireplace.

  -Bugs outside. Unpleasant to hang out on the deck. The trash bin on the deck was also filled with old trash, so there was no room to throw out any new bags of trash, teeming with bugs.

  -Bugs inside. Ants were most common, with my son complaining multiple times about ants in his bed. But it was more than ants - many different kinds of bugs.

  -Heat. There is either no A/C or the A/C didn’t work and the fans only did so much. Sometimes the temperature inside went into the mid 80s. It was hard to get comfortable.

  -The pool is more than 30 minutes walk from the house and the property manager took a long time to find out and tell us the location of the pool, so we didn’t have access for our first day there.

  -Wet basement. Some sort of leak in the basement, spilling out from the wall area and leaking out under the couch.

  -Projector tv. Even if you did want to hang out in the wet basement, we could not figure out how to connect anything to the projector and there were no instructions explaining what to do.

  -There are three TVs upstairs but only one worked.

  -Bad toilets. There are two toilets in the house. One had a toilet seat that was barely attached. The other had a leaky drip underneath it.

  -I found a wad of hair in the shower the first time I went to use it.

  -The shampoo provided felt so thin, like it had been watered down.

  -Broken toaster.

  - The trash situation has been addressed. We purchased a town permit for the transfer station, and the new cleaning crew will ensure the bear box and trash areas are properly managed.
  - We apologize for the inconvenience with the pool. We will ensure that future guests receive the necessary information and passes promptly.
  - The wet basement issue has been fixed by a plumber, who addressed the leak from the main floor shower and a leaky valve under the toilet.
  - We regret the confusion with the projector TV and the other TVs. Instructions for using the projector and TVs will be provided for future guests.
  - The broken toaster has been replaced, and we will ensure that all appliances are in working order for future stays.
  - The shampoo issue and the presence of a hair wad in the shower have been addressed with our new cleaning team to ensure higher standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

  Beautiful property! So many deer friends! The Host was awesome. We couldn’t figure out the Tvs and she stayed on the phone with me longer than anyone should! I would def go back!
