  The home was not very clean- hair in the shower, dusty surfaces, food stains on the counter and in the microwave, dirty windows. In person it was darker, dingier and more cluttered looking than in the pictures. We were never able to find a remote control to operate the TV and had difficulty communicating with the owner/host about this.

  The home was an easy commute (about 40 minutes) to Crater Lake, the purpose of our visit.

  Restaurant options are few and not the best in the whole area.

  Connectivity- wifi and internet- are spotty all over the area.

  Heavy smoke smell from prior renters per the host; this eventually aired out within a couple of days. Good location for activities, easy to get to. Quiet neighborhood. Could use updated beds, pillows, and bedding for more comfortable sleeping.

  "Thank you for your valuable feedback. We're very sorry that there was a smoke smell from the previous stay. We make it very clear there is no smoking allowed in our home but regrettably, we can see it was not followed. We have purchased a freshener to address it and to prevent this from recurring for our future stays. 
  -Since we first listed this property, we've made continuous improvements to keep it in good condition including new master bedroom flooring and new pillows. We appreciate your suggestions and will take them into consideration.
  We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and provide even better stays moving forward."
