  • Nice mixture of seclusion and convenience

This is a cute cabin with modern decor in a great location. It's far enough away from the city to feel like you're in the mountains but close enough to Waynesville to be very convenient. (12-15 minutes) We had no issues with disruptive neighbors. It was very quiet and peaceful. Do not expect a 5-star hotel with all the modern comforts--this is a rustic cabin with individual mini-splits for A/C in each room and some insects and dampness like you would expect staying in the woods. (It also rained quite a lot before we came, so that certainly played a factor I'm sure.) But these were minor inconveniences. Our children loved the cabin, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back, especially for the price.
