  • A Perfect Weekend

    5/5

We loved the house and location. It was a perfect place for fishing, relaxing and exploring the Blue Ridge. We enjoyed the Linville winery, hiking Linville Falls, visiting Little Switzerland and the apple orchard on the parkway and eating at the Gastropub in Spruce Pine - all dog friendly places! The hosts and concierge were very friendly and responsive making sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The house is very well equipped and we enjoyed hanging on the deck and grilling. The best part is the expansive property and the beautiful river - It was our water loving dog's dream getaway!

  • Beautiful property with plenty of room to run

    5/5

I cannot say enough good things about the property. The house is very spacious and comfortable. The deck is very large and perfect for dining outside and letting the kids run around. The absolute show stopper is walking down to the river, the lower section of the property is where all of our time was spent. The river is great and has extremely easy access, with great fishing! The river area is so expansive and perfect for the kids and dogs, just let them run as much as they can! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

  • Relaxing Mountain Getaway

    5/5

We stayed at this riverfront home for a weekend and had a spectacular time. The house and grounds make for a relaxing getaway. The back deck overlooks the mountains and river, so peaceful. Perfect spot for dining or your morning coffee. It’s one of the best stocked homes I’ve stayed in, equipped with any kitchen item or utensil needed. They also have puzzles and games available. The house was very clean and tidy. There is a nice path/drive to the riverfront that opens up to a huge open space that borders the river. We did not bring our fishing poles but it is the PERFECT spot to fish. If you do not want to fish you can enjoy the gorgeous view or relax by the fire pit. The home is not far from town so we were able to go out to dine and shop. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, I would recommend. We all felt refreshed and relaxed from our stay.
