    College friends getaway in the mountains! The property was exactly as described. This home was well-stocked with kitchen items and toiletries. The view of the mountains from the family room is fantastic. The property manager was quick with her response when we had a question. We hiked the Appalachian Trail and played pickleball at the courts in the community. Highly recommend this place for any type of group. Thanks!

  • Amazing cabin family getaway

    Wolf Retreat cabin was very spacious and perfect for a family. So much room and plenty of bedrooms and beds and 3.5 bathrooms! A half bath is located downstairs right inside the front door which was great! This place has the most amazing views from both balconies. It even has a bidet and a soaking tub in the master bathroom along with an electric fireplace below the TV! Beautiful decor throughout the cabin with antler mirrors and lights! Loved it! The owners have gone above and beyond in stocking their cabin to make it feel like you are at your own home with all the necessities you would need to cook your family meals. You will find small appliances such as a toaster, crock pot, coffee pot, and blender to use throughout your stay. You will also find board games, a printer to use if needed, and cupboards and shelves that are stocked with items that you may have forgotten. They even had a selection of spices to cook with! The driveway is steep and we had a bit of trouble making it up the driveway with a minivan and had to make a run for it in order to make it up the driveway. The hot tub was great, however it was lacking chemicals and did not smell clean, but I am certain that if we would have reported this, the host would have taken care of it. We had some trouble with the refrigerator and the host, Brandy, responded very quickly with a resolution. The cabin is also a bit dark and could use some better lighting in a few areas downstairs and the queen bedroom does not have a TV in it. The other 3 bedrooms do have a TV in them. This cabin is little over a mile from the entrance where the trout pond, swimming pool , pickle ball and tennis courts, ping pong table, and basketball hoops are located. There are several nature trails and hikes to waterfalls within an hour of the area. I wish we would of had more time to enjoy the Asheville area and go to the Biltmore Estate during our stay.

    Another plus was a bottle of wine that was left for us as we entered the cabin. What a kind gesture! We also woke up one morning to a mom and baby deer standing at our front steps. We had such a great time with our family of 4 adults and 2 kids ages 9 & 10! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone that is staying in this area.! You will not be disappointed!

    Our stay was fantastic! The property was exactly as described and has plenty of household items like toilet paper and some toiletries. We had a question about something and the property manager was very prompt in her reply. Highly recommend this property for a vacation. The views from the deck were stunning. We also played pickleball daily and the community courts. We hiked the Appalachian Trail up to Big Bald Mountain and would highly recommend doing that as well. Thanks for a great stay!!!

  • Perfect Getaway with Stunning Views

    We had a fantastic stay at this home! The views were absolutely stunning, and the hot tub was amazing after a day out. The house was clean and really comfortable, felt just like home. It's also really close to the Appalachian Trail, which was a huge bonus. Perfect spot for some much-needed relaxation. Highly recommend!
