  • This cabin is perfection!

    My family of really enjoyed our week long stay at the Louisiana Purchase cabin! It truly was perfect for us. The common areas were spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom has the most gorgeous views! We wanted to cook several meals and the kitchen did not disappoint! The stove was awesome and they provide many pots and pans. The jacuzzi was the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. We loved sitting around the fire pit at night, and taking in the gorgeous view with our morning coffee! It’s very clean, cozy, and peaceful. The caretaker was always just a phone call away if we needed, but we never did! My family made some wonderful memories here this winter. We plan to go back in the summer!

    We will definitely be back! This cabin has everything we needed for the week! Cute small town vibe with beautiful scenery. The owners and concierge (Seth) responded immediately to any questions or things we needed.

    The property was beautiful and we loved the surrounding landscape. There was plenty of space for my niece and nephews to have their time away from the adults. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, local trails and the seeing various wildlife. The city has a pretty good restaurant called J. Arthurs, which is about 5mins away from the cabin. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I would like to come back next year, if possible.

    We loved the cabin! In addition to it being well decorated for fall, a welcome card and a unique fall cookie gift in the refrigerator, it had everything we needed to cook with and enjoy a few days away from work. It was very clean, the hot tub was wonderful after a day exploring and hiking. The decks all had wonderful views too. The driveway is a bit tricky at first; but once you get the 'hang of it' it is easy to get in and out.

    We recommend this cabin!!

    This cabin has everything we needed for the week! It was in a great central location to lots of hiking trails, waterfalls and Maggie Valley had some excellent restaurants. We were all very comfortable with the space and amenities provided. Would definitely come back!!
