  We want to thank the hosts--this property was cleaned to within an inch of its life; I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. It was easy to access everything, there were plenty of towels, TVs everywhere, wifi was strong and free, good water pressure, lots of hot water, washer/dryer were very handy. Everything worked. I could tell someone worked very hard to get it ready for us. We originally reserved this duplex/house because we thought we would be traveling with another adult couple. They canceled, fortunately; this place would not have worked for four unrelated adults (tho it might be fine for a group of twenty-somethings). It is a shotgun house and you need to walk through both bedrooms to get to the kitchen. It would have been fine for a couple with children, although there would be no privacy. The neighborhood is easy walking to restaurant row on Freret Street and a 25 minute walk to Tulane/Loyola, but it is close to S. Claiborne Ave & Ochsner Hospital and I did not feel safe walking by myself in the evening (60 yo female weighing < 130). You can question safety in a lot of New Orleans, I realize, but I felt a bit worried when I was alone after dark. A couple of suggestions for the future: there was a mat in the shower that I think was there to prevent slipping but I wore socks every time I showered, that is all I will say about it. You may want to replace that mat. We didn't cook much, but there was only one coffee mug and a minimum of other kitchenware. The soap dispenser in the bathroom didn't work. I went out and bought soap on the first day. Minor issues, although we were surprised to be sharing a coffee mug.. In sum, I recommend this place for a couple or couple with kids or a group of young adults, not four more mature adults. It was not fancy but really decent. Very good if you are visiting Tulane or want to go to restaurant row on Freret. I walked to and from the French Quarter one of the days we visited, that was a bit insane but doable if you really like long walks.

  The house was beautiful very clean, our contact person Juanita was very pleasant, and helpful. I would definately recommend this company and this home. It was a little away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but that was nice, very quiet neighborhood and everyone was friendly. loved it

  The property was very clean, but very minimalist. No dressers or even a small chair or table to place suitcase on. Although there was a coffee maker in the kitchen, there were no coffee mugs.
