Not Really Air Conditioned
3/5 Check in process was smooth, unit was clean, pool was nice. It was a little hard to find the parking spot, but only the first time. Mostly very nice. It is fairly deceptive that they say the unit is air conditioned in the property description. There is a small portable AC unit in the bedroom only. It's not even enough to cool the bedroom fully, though it does take the edge off. The living room and kitchen however do not have AC and get very uncomfortably hot in the afternoon when the sun shines right in. Some people may not mind, but I specifically looked for a unit with AC.

Hi Kai, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they would like to clarify the following:
- The listing specifies that the unit has a portable A/C unit.
- The west-facing orientation of the condo provides beautiful sunsets, which can also make the living areas warmer. The available curtains and balcony shade are there to help manage the heat.
- While the parking spot might be a bit tricky to locate the first time, future guests may find it easily after the initial attempt.

5/5 Enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed. The bed proved a little too soft for my back, but my husband found it fine. Lanai was quiet and private.

Very nice apartment
4/5 This was a very nice apartment about a mile walk from downtown. Convenient to drives both north and south. First time GPS had a little trouble, but got it sorted out.
Access was very easy to the unit. Absolutely no complaints.
Alii Villa Condo
5/5 We really enjoyed our stay at this very clean and well equipped condo. The location is perfect to access the different island excursions that are available. The location of the condo offers a great view of the ocean and is very quiet being away from the noise on Alii Drive. The host was quick to respond with any questions and the condo had everything that we wanted to enjoy our stay on the Big Island. We look forward to returning for another stay and would highly recommend this property!
