  We could not be happier with our stay at Whiskey Woods. The cabin is very well kept up and you can tell the owners have put a lot of time and thought into making it an enjoyable experience for anyone who visits. The amenities are perfect for families with kids, or a couple just looking to get away. The community center has a pool and an arcade that our kids loved! It is close enough to downtown Ellijay, while being far enough out where it is quiet. There are multiple wineries close by to visit, as well as orchards. The city of Helen is only about an hour away, which was perfect to enjoy a day trip there. The hot tub and fire pit were great ways to unwind after a long day of activities. We look forward to our next stay, hopefully soon!

  We booked this cabin for our anniversary, and we were blown away with this place. So much so that we booked a family vacation for next summer to the same cabin already. The cabin was clean and had everything you could want. The owner was polite and easy to communicate with. This cabin would be great for multiple families, with plenty of beds. The back porch was a great place to just hang out and watch the deer go by. Great location and peaceful. Several towns within a thirty-minute drive for dining or shopping. We would highly recommend this cabin for any occasion.

• Baseball Getaway

  Our son played ball at Lakepoint. The cabin was close enough to go back and forth, but got us away from the hustle and bustle of the city traffic. Our kids range in age from 13-19 and all enjoyed the peace of the mountain as well as the opportunities for activity.We would highly recommend this place for a family getaway

  Our family had an incredible time at this beautiful private cabin secluded in the woods! It’s clear that the homeowners take great pride in making sure the cabin is clean and well stocked. We had a great time enjoying the game room, hot tub and back porch. Our 4 year old son and his friends loved the Skee ball and air hockey table. The community is great with River access, an indoor pool and arcade The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We will be back!

  I took my sister, daughter and her friends for a weekend trip to this home to celebrate high school graduation. We had a wonderful experience staying in this home. The home was very clean and had an ample supply of bath towels! I think the owners thought of everything that you could possibly need while staying in this home. The owners were so thoughtful and very responsive. They even hung up a "Happy Graduation" sign that the girls saw when we arrived to the home. (which they all really loved!) There were plenty of games and activities for the girls to enjoy. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and spread out. 3.5 bathrooms was awesome for a house full of girls! The home was located close to Ellijay and other towns for shopping and outdoor activities. We enjoyed having coffee on the screened in porch and watching the deer walk by. There is so much wildlife in the resort community to enjoy. We hope to stay at this home again soon.
