    We wanted to get away after Christmas and still have some Christmas activities with the kids. So we booked this very cute cabin. It is pet friendly which is a huge plus. First we received a phone call about a month out asking if there is anything they can do to make our stay better (very unexpected and awesome) - I said if they can make it a little Christmassy that would be wonderful. When we arrived there were personalized welcome signs, smores kits, yummy local jam, stockings hung with a Christmas tree and lights outside as well. Lots of room for running (for both the dog and my youngest) and it was very clean. During our stay I had to reach out for one issue (it was a user error, mine) and was taken care of very quickly. We even received a text while there letting us know we might get snow and to be aware and careful. We were able to go to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega and Helen while there because we were centrally located. My only regret is that I would have rather skipped Blue Ridge and stayed a full day at just the cabin.

    After check out (which was incredibly easy) we realized half way home we left an expensive item in the cabin. The owner was overly helpful and communicative in getting it to us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. In a time when customer service seems non existent we were blown away with the special touches and hospitality.

  • Clean and OK

    Property needs hand rails on front entrance, very steep for older folks. Queen bed was quite high to get in and twin had a horrible squeak each time you moved. No Mountain View but pretty open field. Other cabins fairly close, parking was good but the street noise was a nuisance at night. My most disappoint came because I deliberately picked a cabin with a fireplace. It did not work from day one. Reached out to our contact number. She said she would be there in about 45 min. She forgot about us until 9:30 that night, after we wasted an evening and ended up with gas station pizza for dinner. She offered to try again the next day but I didn’t have trust she would show and didn’t want to waste any more of our trip waiting. Cabin was clean and well stocked. So if that’s all you need this would be a good fit.

    - As for the fireplace, it was inspected before your visit and was working. There are detailed instructions in the guest welcome book to assist guests with operating the fireplace since we know they can be tricky to operate.
    - Thank you for reaching out to the Guest Contact during your stay about operating the fireplace. We were happy to help you troubleshoot so that you could enjoy the home.
    - Thank you for your feedback and I apologize if we failed to meet your expectations for immediate support with operating the fireplace.
    - I spoke to our Guest Contact and she apologizes for not being available right when you requested assistance with the fireplace.
    - She did offer to come over as soon as she was available. We acknowledge that we could have done better and we understand your frustration.
    - We provide plenty of suggestions in the listing description of nearby attractions, but ultimately it’s up to the guest how they want to spend their time in the area. There are also many dining options in the area, many of which are listed in the guest welcome book.
    - While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past.
    - However, we're sorry the mattress didn't meet your preferences since we want all our guests to rest easy.
    - We always appreciate guests choosing to spend time at our vacation home. Thank you again for the feedback.
    - We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
