We booked a last minute trip to Augusta and our first rental was cancelled due to a mechanical failure. I am glad it was because I cannot imagine it would have been as nice and inviting as this unit. It was much larger than we expected and the bathrooms are huge. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked with everything we would need. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch after a day full of activities. All in all a 5 out of 5 stars!! I would book this unit again without any concern.
The location was perfect, but there were a couple of issues. First, the house is advertised to have 2 queen beds, but it had 2 full beds. Second, when we arrived, there was only 1 bath cloth, so we had to call for more. Anne, responded very quickly with more. Finally, it’s quite obvious they didn’t check the house before we arrived. There were several burnt light bulbs and the house could have been vacuumed. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t freshly cleaned. For the price they charge in fees, the place should’ve been pristine. Having said all of this, none of this would make me shy away from the house. I would still stay here again if I was in the area.

From the owner: "Thank you for staying with us. I am so sorry you found anything lacking. Since our cleaning crew sometimes does laundry offsite, they were late to deliver the washcloth. That is why Anne responded so quickly to correct that issue and deliver. The bulbs have been replaced. We can confirm that the beds are Queen size 60" x 80". Please come back to see us!"

Nice place but cleaning should be more thorough, food under chairs and cushions.
Our son graduated from dental school and we had the opportunity to stay at this charming home. And they were super accommodating!
