Not as advertised
1/5 Here is a list of items we reported to Marriott to seek refund for the home. To spend this amount of money + points for this is absolutely rediculous. The house is not as advertised!
- No welcome book to let us know what to do for the home.
- No Wi-Fi code upon entering home
- No email to enter the home until after we got here
- The Toilet upstairs clogged on first use
- No plunger. Had to go out and buy one to fix toilet.
- Fridge downstairs leaking upon arrival. Had to unplug to stop leak. Provided pictures to Marriott.
- Presented as a beach front property. It is not on the beach. This was one of the most disappointing things of all as we had 2 young children and we traveled over 11 hours to get to this property while they were displaced and upset from the hurricane. This is the saddest non-real beach I've ever seen.
- Both shower gel dispensers collapsed on first use and could have injured us.
- Several light switches don’t work upon entering the house
- No comforters on master beds
- Bugs in cupboard
- Cockroach in bathroom
- Open Nails all over the walls
- No cleaning supplies in Kitchen
- Toilet paper holder in half bath broken
- Downstairs couch smells like cat piss
- There was a ketchup packet under the lamp in the upstairs double bed guest room.
- No normal pillows in 4 of the bedrooms. Just decorative pillows.
- No toilet paper backup. Had to go out and purchase more.
