Annual family vacation
4/5 Overall the stay was a good experience. This was our 1st time using a VRBO rental, and we were really excited about having our own pool. Communication between myself & the rental owners was good. There are just some things that could be improved & make the stay at this location top notch. Some things that could be fixed are:
1. The door handle to the hoise was falling off
2. The main toilet wouldn’t flush (hubby had to pour water in the back of the toilet..that fixed it.
3. The ice machine wasnt working (needs a new filter)
4. We would occasionally notice water under the garbage bin underneath the kitchen sink.
5. Some of the dishes for the oven were still dirty/greasy
6. Some off the food in the cupboard (macNcheese) was expired (2020)
* Some washcloths & more towels would be nice as well. Maybe have separate pool towels from bath towels
* The refrigerator/freezer wasnt completely emptied prior to our arrival.

2/5 no inst given on how to operate digital keypad, had to tap it many times before it came on then it could not open dead bolt had to push door in to loosen bolt then it unlocked . upon entry saw pile of old mail on one living room end table and a box of hotel size soaps and shampoos on another. kitchen counter was crawling with very tiny ants,, had to wipe it down with clorox cleaner for a couple days before they were gone, spiders in every nook and cranny of whole house, lizard in a kit. cabinet. obviously no one had been in here in months. no hairdryer, even the cheapest motel provides this. New dishwasher, too bad you cant use it because it only opens 6 inches before hitting the handle of a counter drawer , why install it in a spot where you cant even open it, smelled really nasty inside, probaly stagnant moldy water in there from never being used, wifi password didnt work, of course, there were 3 locked doors inside house, the one in the kitchen had a whole at eye level, gave me the creeps. good thing my wife wasnt with me she would've definitely wanted to leave not worth what i paid, would definitely not stay again
