2/5 The property is beautiful but definitely needs updating and maintenance. The pool was not clean upon arrival and no one came to clean it during our stay, so we were unable to enjoy it. The house was filled insects and wild life (ants, spiders and lizards) each day. Pest control is definitely needed. There was blood stains on the mattress cover in the master bedroom, which was absolutely disgusting. The walls were filthy! A simple coat of paint or magic eraser goes a long way.

Hi Colette, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that this home did not exceed your expectations. After following up with the homeowner, we would like to clarify a few points:
- The pool was serviced the day before your arrival, and they were not notified that you had any concerns regarding the cleanliness. The owner would have been happy to send their pool tech out if needed, and they leave a skimmer there in case guests need to remove leaves.
- Spiders and lizards are common in Florida, and guests may encounter them in the backyard. The interior of the house is treated regularly by pest control, so there should not be any pests inside unless windows or doors are left open. The owner provides bug spray as well if needed.
- The property was professionally cleaned before your check-in, and no stains were spotted at the time. The owner would have been happy to provide a new mattress cover upon request.

Nice house
5/5 The house overall was nice and clean and in a convenient location to where we were going- Gulfstream Park. The only recommendations we have are to get the kitchen sink fixed- it was coming out of the counter and had almost zero water flow; thicker towels for the showers- they were paper thin; slow us to control the thermostat- it seemed to have some type of regulator on it and no matter what we set it on we would wake up hot to a setting of 74 degrees every single night.
