We had a wonderful time and the house was fantastic

The house is beautiful and clean. The road is narrow and a little bumpy but nothing too bad. We went there during the day with no rain or snow so the dirt road wasn't slick. There are about 3 turns on the road and it is a little rocky but we have dealt with way worse dirt roads when camping in Colorado so this was not bad and it doesn't take long to get to the house. Once you book it and they send the exact address just Google map it and it will show the road and how many turns there are. This house is the last house at the very top of the mountain!! Which is pretty cool!!! Beautiful views. The area around the house is steep so we just stuck to walking on the dirt rode we drove in on for our hike. Tons of hummingbirds come to visit on the deck and we saw 2 deer out the windows. We were careful not to over use the water as the house runs on a well and we did just fine with that. There isn't really a fenced off yard for small kids it's on a mountain so if you have little ones you really gotta keep them close when playing outside. We had a great visit in this home and the owners have a binder with info on the home and how long they've owned it and how to use or work some of the things in the house. It is a cool little personal touch from them to guests.
was very nice and loved the views, the road up to the location is not very good, the cabin was nice however we fought ants inside the house the entire time, when we notified the owner, just told us to spray some vinegar around , we left the property early.

Hi Ball, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
- We're glad to hear you enjoyed the views the property has to offer, but we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns.
- Upon your notification of your departure due to altitude sickness, we went to the property and where we did find ants outside the property by the front door, we did not find any ants in the home. We have since treated the exterior of the property to prevent such occurrences in the future.
- We're sorry that the suggestions we provided you to help with Altitude sickness did not help you.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
We really love this place. Definitely remote, a fun windy Road up the mountain to get to the location but once we were there, the views were amazing! We had everything we needed, and we love the peace and quietness of the location. Plenty of room for our family, And the best part was sitting out in the deck In the morning, and clearly anytime of the day… Absolutely beautiful

Clean, well organized, and well appointed home. The AWD/4WD vehicle requirement is not a joke - the home is at the end of a steep unpaved road.
