First let me say when they say you need 4wd or awd to get to the cabin they are not kidding, but once you get there…. Wow! The home was clean and the views were amazing! They had a nice welcome package of local chips and beer. When at the cabin we spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the beautiful views during the day and stars at night. We even made friends with the resident hummingbirds! The beds were very comfortable too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this mountain oasis. The views from the living room and deck were amazing. It was just two of us spending time away for our anniversary, so we only stayed in the master bedroom. Kitchen and bathrooms were very well appointed, and the gas grill on the deck fired up right away for an evening cookout. Even though we fully understood that the drive up to the property was going to be rough, we weren't quite prepared for the boulders and potholes in the dirt/rock road once the steeper ascent began, hence only 4 stars. But, once we caught our breath at the top, we were reminded why we selected the property with this view. Communication with the owners was excellent before, during, and after our stay!

The View is AMAZING!! Do NOT travel in the dark your first time trying to find it. It took us over an hour and the directions aren't clear. You have to have an all wheel drive because the road up is very hairy, many switch backs. I would list that high up in the description. Once you get there you won't want to leave, so get supplies ahead of time. It is a beautiful cabin. We would suggest putting shades on the windows upstairs b/c once the sun comes up it is very bright in there. I would find a better cleaning company. The master upstairs comforter had what looked like "human fluids" on it so needless to say we didn't use it. Under the couch is nasty and I don't think has ever been vacuumed. The kitchen has all the necessities so that is a plus. It has heated floors which is very nice. Overall a beautiful cabin and I would highly recommend it.

Loved the property and the view. Got a little nervous on the way up to the cabin. Glad we drove the truck.
