Not what I expected
3/5 The room was just not quite up to par. The moment we opened the door, I realized a few things were off. The washer/dryer are not in the room. In fact, the washer/dryer is on a different floor ACROSS the resort because the one closest to you was shut down the entire stay. Also, you must download an app to get the washer/dryer to work. We had to turn the heat almost all the way down AND sleep with the door open with all of the fans turned on because it was so hot. Don’t plan on burning a fire that looks super cozy…. Unless you want to pay $5 PER LOG that you can only purchase at the front desk. I didn’t get to relax on the couch downstairs because the leg of the couch looked and felt like it would break at any moment. There were no drawers to put any clothes in except for upstairs where all of the decorative pillows go. The whole place was confusing.

4/5 The loft was cozy and clean. The upstairs bedroom was hot, but a fan was provided and it was July. There is also a skylight in loft bedroom and makes for early morning light. Everything you need was pretty much provided. Loved our stay and we would stay again.

Could and should have been better!
3/5 Our room was OK but not as clean as it should have been. My biggest complaint though is that there was absolutely NO communication with the owner! I tried and tried before our trip to get a few questions answered and never got a response! My one request was that the bedding and towels were not laundered with fabric softener. Since they never responded to that request, I could only hope that they got my message and honored this important request. Asked for a late check out also and they never responded. It could have been a much better experience and more comfortable stay if they had only reached out and made us feel valued as a paying guest.
