    This is a tired, old condo complex and unit. The carport is falling apart as well.We arrived on a cold/rainy evening and found all of the windows in the unit opened about three inches. It was cold and damp in the unit and couldn't understand why the property manager had opened the widows before we had arrived. Well, it was apparent after about an hour that there was a smell in this unit. I don't know if it was mold, pet odors, smoking in the unit, nevertheless, it had an odor. My daughter has allergies to both mold and pet dander, so we didn't want to risk a stay in this rental. I called the property management company and ultimately contacted the manager hired by the owner, which was also a friend of the owner. The property manager told the management company that there wasn't an odor, and they took her word for it. I had requested that Evolve, the management company, send a representative to meet me in the unit. They wouldn't do it. I asked why the windows would be opened on a 52 degree, rainy evening, and they never responded.I had to spend $2500 to find other accommodations and have not been given back a penny of what I had spent on this unit.I have rented many properties on VRBO over the years and have not had a single issue. Do yourself a favor and take a pass on this unit/complex.

    Hi Michael, thank you for your review. This homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response:
    - Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, but I'm very sorry that you felt like you were unable to stay in my condominium.
    - The windows are opened before a guest checks to get fresh air in the condominium. It was a matter of timing that they weren't closed, but I am sorry if this alarmed you.
    - This is an older complex, but I've made ongoing renovations to it. I've never had a pet there per my Homeowner Association rules. Additionally, no one has ever smoked in the home and there's no mold. I can understand your needing to be cautious with your daughter's allergies, but my Guest Contact certainly could have come in to try and figure out a solution for you.
    - I will be working with a cleaning company to figure out what additional areas need improvement so that my guests can feel completely comfortable in my property.
