We loved o, ur stay at this rustic but comfortable cabin. It was very close to the Weminuche wilderness area, and excellent fly fishing on Vallecito creek. I would love to go back.
One partial downside was the lack of WIFI. While we liked being off grid, the lack of WIFI did cause us to make a number of time consuming trips to town so my husband could send off some work projects.
Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the cabin.
If you are lucky enough to book some time with this classy family and their jewel of a property do it. Excellent communication and a history of being "Lake People" make this family a resource for your vacation.

What a wonderful cabin. We mostly sat out back and listened to the birds and the sound of the creek. We walked to the hiking trail and took hikes. The cabin is exceptionally well stocked and comfortable. We will return!

I can't say enough about this sweet cabin! It truly became our home away from home and I can't wait to come back! My husband and I both work at a hospital so taking this week off grid was sooo needed! The cabin itself is very clean, has all the amenities we needed and the owners were wonderful!!! I spoke with Rick who was so responsive! We love to charcoal grill so he made sure to have the charcoal grill available with charcoal, newspaper and a chiminea for the charcoal! This is definitely a VRBO that we will return to!

The cabin was very clean and obviously very well-managed. The owner was super communicative. Location was great, near a beautiful creek in about a quarter of a mile from one of the prettiest trails in Colorado. I highly recommend this cabin!
