  Very clean, quiet house that is well-situated for visitors to Joshua Tree National Monument. I reduced the cleanliness score one star because we found a surprising number of dead insects and scorpions on the floor. I suspect these died after the last cleaning. We didn't see any live scorpions but coming from the Phoenix area, scorpions are that big if a deal.

  One caution is that the access is a quarter mile of dirt road that might be an issue when rains come to the desert.

• Beautiful spot

  We stayed at this location for 2 nights and had a great time . Beautiful, modern and functional. Has everything you need for a great stay. The beds were super comfortable. The sunset view from our window was amazing . 29 palms is a very cool little town with great restaurants ( check out Grndsqrl) and even a record store . Short drive to Joshua tree’s Northgate.

• Newly remodeled desert getaway home! Would 100% book again.

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Twentynine Palms! I came here looking for the desert experience—nature all around, a view of the night sky, and easy access to Joshua Tree Park. I got all of these things & more. The home is beautifully renovated / newly remodeled as it looks brand new and the furniture and appliances are in amazing shape. Check in was easy and the location is amazing—there is plenty of space both in the home and outside. There are no immediate neighbors, but the Joshua Tree park entrance is a quick and easy drive as are the shops, restaurants, and town nearby. My favorite part was that the home felt like it was in the middle of nowhere but was still so comfortable, safe, and had easy access to nearby attractions. I took beautiful photos of sunrise and sunset, which you have great views from on the property. Great photos opps also! I would definitely book here again for another trip. It exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to the hosts for such a great stay!
