Our group was extremely disappointed with our stay at this VRBO starting with trying to get into the home. The home had a padlock with 4 code numbers. We were given instructions to use last 4 of my cell to access the home. What the instructions did not make clear was that it was for the electronic keyboard above the door knob, not the padlock that provided a key to the home. This keyboard was blacked out so you could not tell it was a keypad. The keypad did not come up with a simple tap, it kept coming up with two numbers. The manager came over to show us you had to tap out the two numbers and the whole keyboard would come up so you can punch your 4 numbers. That whole process took over an hour to resolve. I will be running out of space for my full comments so here are bullet points of the issues we had:
a. Internet was turned off so both internet and tv were not working. manager had to call owner to figure out how to turn it on.
b. The bbq came with two propane tanks; the one hooked up was very low; the spare on the side was empty. Since we had planned to bbq each night, we had to have the manager take the empty one and replace it with a full one. (As it turned out, we only bbq at the home for one night due to all the other issues we had- we went to another home our group rented for the rest of the week for bbq)
c. The curtain in the main living room would not close
d. There was no soap in any of the bathrooms or kitchen. We had to go buy soap
e. The linen closet looked like the cleaners just rolled up the linen and threw them in the closet. It was a total mess.
f. The kitchen drawers were lacking in most basic utensils and dirty. We washed everything before we used them.
g The bbq was filthy; it looked like it had not been cleaned in quite a while. We had to clean the top grill and the grates below due to the grease buildup
h There was a refrigerator downstairs just outside the door for the garage entrance that was just horrible. No one has bothered to clean down there.
i In the master bathroom only 2 of the 8 vanity lights worked
j The dining room wooden chairs were all wobbly and dangerous to sit (reason why we did not eat at this home after the first night)
k The air duct in the living room had not been cleaned in months
l The instructions for using internet was a page that had so many overwritten codes to figure out what was the real code
m Rugs were horrible

The challenges with both the lock and Wi-Fi were a direct result of a power failure that transpired a few hours before your check-in. Regrettably, we must acknowledge that the forces of nature are beyond our control and we extend our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
-As for the other issues you raised, they are primarily related to our cleaning service. We will have a thorough conversation with our cleaner to identify the root causes of these problems and take measures to ensure they don't recur. If necessary, we are prepared to make changes to our cleaning service to prevent any future inconveniences.
