Family stay

This worked well for our family (2 adults and 2 little kids). We enjoyed the games and the playground nearby. The rental itself was well stocked and had a large dining room table, which allowed us plenty of space to spread stuff out and still eat.

Needs better management

Had to communicate too much with our Guest Point of Contact which itself shows this wasn't a seamless experience.

1) There was confusing info about the gate access fee and other amenities fee in the booking details so I reached out to Sarah (our Guest contact) per the Evolve email we received. Sarah was responsive but mentioned that Donna is the right person to contact. This information should have been shared clearly in the email we had received. Anyhow I reached out to Donna 2-3 days before the trip but there was no response from her.

Copied from property details we received:

- "There is a $46 gate entry fee to access the gated community."

- "There is a $46 fee to use the community amenities paid on-site"

2) On the day of the travel, Donna was responsive and even let us check-in early. It was a hot day and I really appreciate that.

3) Donna mentioned that the home was ready so checked in early. But found out that there were no toiletries provided as mentioned in the booking. On further texting with Donna, she mentioned that the house is going through a new management hence the things weren't provided. Donna came back with some supplies in the evening.

4) We found out late evening that there were no bedsheets on both the beds in the 2 bedrooms. I didn't want to text Donna late in the night so let her know the next morning. We slept on the mattresses the first night. She got us some sheets the next day evening.

5) There was a package delivered for Donna on this property on the 3rd day of our stay. I do not mind at all to receive it and put it inside for her but it was just super weird.

Overall there was nothing done for us to make up for this experience. They might be little things but just added up to be too much back and fro throughout the trip.

-The details about fees are clearly stated in the listing, and we strive for full transparency. It would have been helpful if the property manager had been contacted during the stay to address any concerns directly rather than afterward.
-Regarding supplies, they are delivered monthly, and we make every effort to schedule these deliveries when the property is unoccupied. Unfortunately, due to high occupancy during the summer months, this wasn't possible in this instance.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to provide our guests with the 5-star experiences we are known for.
