• Beautiful, quiet place

  The home is on an exceedingly quiet pine-studded street and backs up to Apache reservation land, so views are particularly lovely and peaceful from the back deck. The front deck has a good sized table for eating and a smaller coffee table style one with seating. Very nice when the breeze starts to blow. The house seems newly renovated and pleasantly (and probably professionally) decorated. A/C wall unit in family room cools main space well, especially with the aid of a quiet tower fan and a ceiling fan. Bedrooms also have ceiling and tower fans. Plenty of space to put things that you bring. Showers are nice, and hot water works super well. No issues with the internet or TV. Our only real complaint is the lack of adequate lighting in the kitchen area. If you're seniors like us, you might also find it challenging and difficult to find things, safely prepare and cook, and clean up. By the way, if you like nature and birds, go see the Raptor Training session at White Mountain Nature Center in Lakeside. It was great!

• Pinetop Gem

  This very cute home is located in a very quiet and picturesque area. The front and backyard patios are so enjoyable due to the beauty of the area and of course the cool weather. The backyard looks endlessly into pine trees, and there are a few squirrels and an occasional coyote prancing by to live in things up a bit. The interior is very well appointed and the welcoming treat-tray was a nice touch. The communication with the host and Evolve was also commendable. We enjoyed long walks with the dogs into the nearby neighborhoods, adding to the beautiful sights to be seen with all of the tall green pine trees in the area.

• Paradise at the mountain top!

  This property has it all! Quiet and lovely setting, well maintained, well appointed, great communication with the owner and downright comfortable at home feeling. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The front porch and back porch are to die for and it's such a peaceful setting. Dog friendly is an added extra if you are traveling with your furry friend. Our little girl made herself right at home. She loved the front porch and the back yard. Overall, an A+ experience for all of us. Loved it and hope to return again next year.

• Great Getaway!

  This is a great property and host. We stayed in July and loved it. The Host was on top of things and responsive. The house was very well stocked with anything you could want. We are outdoor people and this home was perfect. 2 nice covered patios with one overlooking the neighborhood and one the forest. We enjoyed the patios immensely. The rear yard is very private. Our dog loved it.

  The location was perfect for us. The majority of the activities we do are east of town. Big Lake, A1 Lake, Sunrise, Greer and many outstanding hikes are to the east. This location allows you to get east quickly with out driving through town.

  Town is 2 minutes to the west. You can be at the park, grocery store and restaurants like The Den and Munich Haus in minutes. (Pro Tip: The local grocery "White Mountain Foods," is 5 minutes closer than the big chains)

  The neighbors we met are very nice. Everyone waives and says "hi."

  The one thing to be aware of is the 3rd bedroom. To access the rear yard you go through the room. It was not a an issue for us and we used the room. If someone was really really private they should be in one of the other bedrooms.

  We will be planning another stay next summer. Highly recommend!
