• Beautiful condo & complex but lacking in some basic household items

  This condo is a comfortable, modern condo in a lovely gated condo complex. However, it was missing a number of essential kitchenware items. The condo is located in a less than desirable area but within reasonable driving distance to Gilbert, Scottsdale and Chandler. This is not an area where you can walk to cafes and quaint shops. Having a car is a must if staying here.The recreation center which houses two (outdoor) pools, two hot tubs and an exercise room is a big bonus in this complex and a great way to relax and soak up some sun.

• Not as Advertised: No Pool or Hot Tub Access

  We booked this property for the Mesa Marathon weekend. We chose it primarily because they advertise prominently, pool and hot tub access. They also show photos of the club house, pool table, pool, etc. Our plan was to run the marathon on Saturday, and we booked until Monday so we could recover and relax on Sunday using the pool, hot tub, grill outside, play some pool, etc. However, NONE of this was available to us -- allegely due to COVID-19, though the pandemic has been officialy over for more than two years now! I did write to the property manager about it and got no response. EXTREMELY disappointe. DO NOT BOOK if the pool, hot tub, outdoor grills, rec center are important to you because they simply are not open for your use.

• No Access to Club House, Hot Tub, Pool, Grills, Etc.

  We booked this stay for the Mesa Marathon weekend. After running the marathon on Saturday morning, our plan was to relax the rest of the weekend using the hot tub, playing pool in the club house, and grilling out. All of these amenities are advertised in the listing, along with photos. This was the main reason we chose this unit. Much to our surprise, while these things do exist, we had no access to any of it. I texted the "guest contact" asking about this but got no response. Our weekend plans were ruined. Please remove the photos and the advertised amenities if there is no access for guests. We read in the fine print of our check-in paperwork that the club house and recreation center is closed "due to Covid 19." I don't know what's really going on, but I was very disappointed. Do not book this unit if you want anything other than a place to sleep inside a box with very few windows. The unit was very clean, I will give them that. Also, be sure to bring your own tabs for the dishwasher, your own shampoo, and be ready to strip all of the linens before you leave.
