  We enjoyed our stay very much. A couple things cosmetically that we may have liked a heads up about such as ice, the water machine, etc. But overall would most definitely stay here again!!

  The location is why I gave 2 stars, super close to the jetty and the beach. When we arrived, the owner was there and asked if I could meet Home Depot the next day to recieve her new washing machine, odd but still all good. She left and we entered the home, it had a very unique smell and it was not clean. I've rented in Texas multiple times, definitely not the standard I'm use to. The home itself is in need of severe maintenance and pest control. I think 1 of the main things that should be disclosured is the AC is not adequate for the home, so they have a portable unit in the main living area. The problem is the unit discharges water, ALL THE TIME, there's a bucket and towel, you have to dump the bucket every 2 hours or it'll overflow. The AC has to be on all the time. It was a noticeable inconvenience. Also, there are electrical issues with the light switches and outlets. I definitely would not recommend this home.

We will address your concerns regarding the cleanliness and A/C with the cleaning company so this issue does not affect future guests. There should not have been any bad odors in the home. That being said, we apologize for your experience and will look into what may have caused it. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from any issues. We will look into any electrical issues so they do not affect any future guests.

• Surfside visit

  The property was great, there were a couple small issues that would have been great to know on the front side. But the host and contact were very good to respond timely and to make concessions. We were very happy with the house and would definitely book again if we went back to Surfside.
