  Overall it was ok, but the ants, pigeons and poop i did not care for. House was very nice with all the furnishing like being home. They did have snacks which was a very nice added touch. I would rent again if pigeons were taken care of and ants were gone. Truly a very nice place.

• Okay place to stay

  When we arrived the code that was provided did not let us into the house, we called the owners and they called the maintenance guy to come over. It took over an hour for us to even get into the house. The owners decided to have the locks switched out while we were there to traditional locks and the maintenance guy came back over to do that.

  The hose downstairs did not work so there was no way to wash ourselves or our dog off after a day at the beach.

  There was a big ant problem. You could leave any type of food out that was not completely air tight sealed. We had to throw a bunch of the dog food away because the ants were all over it, and it was in a zipper sealed container.

  All in all it was okay place to stay, lots of weird issues (like the smoke detector going off at 10:30 at night because it had reached the end of its ten year life, who knew). The owners were responsive to the issues, but just all around an okay stay.

Our electric door locks were newly installed earlier this year, and unfortunately, both units malfunctioned during your stay, which required immediate replacement.   - Regarding the smoke detector issue, we understand the inconvenience it caused and have replaced it with a new hardwired model. As for the ant problem, we have taken extensive measures to address this issue, including exterior sprays and treatments. However, we recently discovered a significant colony in a locked storage shed, which had not been previously treated. We have now rectified this by implementing a comprehensive solution to prevent any future infestations.
  - We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the water outlet and have made it more easily accessible for our guests. We understand the importance of clear communication and have updated our information folder to ensure that our guests are aware of all available amenities and their proper usage.
  - We are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests, and your feedback has been instrumental in helping us make the necessary improvements. We are constantly striving to enhance our property and services to ensure a seamless and memorable stay for all our guests.   We’ve stayed at a lot of cabins and beach houses but this one had MORE than what you needed. We’re two older people and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The stairs up to the house were wide with tread strips and well lit. Loved the big deck for watching sunrises. Great kitchen for those who enjoy cooking their own meals.

  Last but not least, the decor was so charming and fresh!
