Amazing Beach House! We shall return!
5/5 We absolutely loved our stay at this lovely beach house for our extended family 4-day mini vacation! Our group included 8 adults and 5 children and we all agree that this was an amazing stay! "Our expectations were exceeded from the time we stepped foot onto the property!" My daughter put it like this, "the pictures didn't do it justice!" We were originally a little skeptical because there were only a few short reviews, but, it was everything we hoped for and more! It felt very safe and we were especially surprised by an alarm system that made us feel even more safe. It was very clean, decorated nicely, the kitchen was complete with all of the items/utensils... that we needed; there were two large stainless steel/newer style refrigs which were a plus; the home is high quality and very nicely thought out! There were plenty of clean bath towels, etc. and even some beach towels provided. The large capacity washer and dryer was a plus. There were several board games available, too. We loved the huge deck and all the deck furniture to accommodate our entire group as well as the lower level area with two hammocks which were a very nice touch. Having the half bath on the lower level and the elevator to transport supplies to the upper level as well as for transporting the garbage was also a very functional addition. The steps could be an issue for someone with limitations, though. The private walkway directly to the beach was very nice since we spent every day on the beach when we weren't on the deck! The beach is literally steps away! It was nice having an icecream truck drive by each day for the kids to purchase cool treats, however, some of the cars that drive along the beach go too fast and drive too close to the tents! The water was a little murky and a couple of the kids got bit by what we assume were jelly fish. Thanks for the first aid kit! Also, there was some mysterious tar that was in the water but overall the beach was still fun!
There was a minor issue with the garbage that was promptly handled and an unforeseen maintenance issue with the water system that was handled very much to our satisfaction, as well. Oh, the bunkbeds didn't have rails so may not be ideal for small children to bunk on top. Overall, a wonderful stay and we plan to book this same beach house in 2024 for 7 nights! Heartfelt thanks especially to the amazing owners for going above the call of duty to provide such an oasis & the making of great memories!
