  3 couples came to celebrate one of our 50th birthdays - property was just as described. It was roomy, well maintained, nicely decorated and furnished for comfort. We enjoyed the decks and the dock chairs/swings. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. Highly recommended!

• Cutest little dried-up "lake-houe"

  Family and I came in for Thanksgiving and found a great house. It is centrally located and easy to get to. The home is nicely decorated and has all the amenities of home. Everything was clean, modern and well taken care of. We truly had nothing bad to say about the stay...except for the "lake" part.

  I am from the tri-cities so i was prepared for the fluctuating water levels. That, however, was not the case. There was NO WATER AT ALL. This was extremely disappointing as we were not able to use the kayaks, do the fishing we planned for or enjoy the beautiful water views. Not just that but we paid the premium for this "lake house" - the same amount we would've spent in another lake house that actually had water. The listing is definitely misleading and if the water part of renting a "Lake House" is important to you, do not rent this one.

  Management does not allow any more people than what you reserved for to be at the house. Meaning, we rented for 7 in our family - no more than 7 could be there at any time. This seemed unreasonable to us. I understand rules and regulations but this was extreme! We're an older family and not a bunch of kids looking for a good party house!

  Side note, the driveway is very narrow and you share it with another home. Limited space and no privacy.

We understand the importance of this aspect, and we have made efforts to be transparent about this in our listing details. We're glad that you pointed out the inclusion of kayaks and a canoe to enhance the lake access season from April to October.
  -Regarding the occupancy limit, we apologize if it seemed restrictive. Please note that maximum occupancy is not applicable for the people staying at the property overnight, but also for the amount of people on the property at any given time. Our intention is to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, and we appreciate your understanding of the rules and regulations in place. We've experienced challenges with some guests exceeding the agreed-upon occupancy, leading us to enforce these guidelines.

• Priceless Family Reunion and Wedding

  Our multigenerational family met in Johnson City for our son’s wedding. The Lake House accommodations were welcoming and comfortable. The house accommodations were welcoming, comfortable and perfect for our family time. The lake front location, fishing and outdoor space was also perfect for creating priceless lifelong memories. Greg and Darlene were perfect hosts and their home is everything advertised and more. Thank you for the perfect stay.

• Priceless Wedding and Family Reunion Time

  This lake front home was the perfect accommodations for our multigenerational extended family to come together as we celebrated our son’s wedding.

  The home was welcoming, immaculate, beautiful, spacious and absolutely everything advertised.

  The only downside was not having more time to enjoy the kayaks, fire pit and dock.

  Greg and Darlene are amazing hosts!

  We would love to stay again when we have more time to relax.

  We now have amazing forever memories from our time in your beautiful home.
