    The house is a very short walk to the beach which was wonderful! The stretch of beach nearest to the home wasn’t overly crowded and was near a lifeguard stand. It was nice to have the pool next to the home. Unfortunately, when we arrived the home was not cleaned well (or at all). There were fresh towels and linens. There was dirty silverware in the drawers, the counters were dirty and sticky, etc. The bathrooms have permanent mold. The cleaning supplies in the home were old and brooms filled with dirt and hair. The mattresses and beds are old. The king mattress was so old you could feel the springs when sleeping and the one side felt like you were in a hole. We ended up purchasing mattress pads. At night the pool at the properties next door was packed and was very loud until late in the night. I reached out to the property contact prior to our stay and never received a response. Therefore, I did not attempt to reach out to the property manger during our stay, which I should have. I would say the house would be perfect for a group of friends looking to have a party weekend. I am not overly familiar with Myrtle Beach so I would also suggest to research the area in terms of location prior to booking.
