  • House was fine

    The overall house was OK but there were a lot of things that were missing. We had to buy our own broom, our own paper towels, sponge to wash dishes and we ran out of toilet paper. If you’re staying at the house, make sure that you bring everything that you need. The owners do not supply many things.

    I will say this house was very clean but lacking in some areas. It felt very sterile and needed some homey touches. The floor on main level is tile and super cold on the feet in October. Could use an area rug. Also, the kitchen didn’t have everything we needed so we had to run to Dollar General to get things like a sponge to wash dishes, hand towels, pot holders, and kitchen towels etc. The bathroom upstairs has a broken and missing towel holder and the downstairs bathroom had a toilet paper holder and medicine cabinet that were ready to fall off the wall. The location is sketchy. Seated in a culdesac with abandoned houses and sits right off the highway. Eek!! The check in process was terrible. We were not given the address to the check in center OR the name of the community so our GPS took us to a gated off road and kept turning us around and around. The people at the check in center were nice but would not let us in until they called the owner. Just a mess!!! Overall, it was eh.

    The house was very cozy. Had everything you needed to feel at home. Property manager was very responsive when we had questions. Area overall is nice, many local shops, fast food, restaurants, supermarkets just a short drive away.Check in was so easy! Very secure location. Kids had a blast!
