• Nice Home, Scary Neighborhood

  The first issue with this VRBO is that the contact information for who you contact with questions or concerns is not correct, Evolve (property management company) sent me an email saying Turnify is who I contact, I called them and they told me that they no longer manage for Evolve... it took some digging, but I found the number for Evolve and they gave me a number for someone else who I called and left a message for regarding possibly checking in early. No return call... The bigger issue with this property is the location/neighborhood. When we pulled up to the home, there was a group of people in front of the house next-door. This group of people were very intimidating and frankly scared us (including my teen age son). We quickly got into the house dropped off our belongings and went to the concert we were in town for. We returned later that night and found that there were large groups of people in the street and again, we didn't feel safe. Each time we went in and left the house, there was a strong odor of marijuana that lingered into the house. Overall, we felt very unsafe in this home and ended up getting up very early the next morning and leaving to check in to a hotel (left one day early). I have booked homes through VRBO for several years without issue, however this truly was a terrible experience and I will question booking another home. Also, I did read all reviews on this home as I always do and there was no mention of previous guests feeling unsafe.

  Great time where my family could socialize and enjoy each others company. Plenty of street parking. House was cozy and inviting. Beds were comfortable.

  Great location near to everything. The neighborhood appears to be in transition. Some nice homes that are proper but some are not well kept. The property itself is remodeled and is nice. Great value and relatively safe.

  The design of this home is modern and very cool inside…just like the pictures. It had all the amenities of being at home. It had (2) full size bathrooms, with showers, not bathtubs. The kitchen was fully equipped and the (3) bedrooms were a nice size, as well. The beds were very comfy and had the most comfortable sheets on them. The location was perfect and less than 10 minutes from the city and anywhere else we needed to go to (depending on traffic). I contacted the host before I arrived and received a response quickly. Everything in this home was comfy, clean and tidy. I have no complaints and would definitely book this home again. FYI…there is plenty of on street parking, but when we arrived at the home, a woman approached us and made it clear to us that she was aware that this was a rental property and not to park our car in her parking spot. Confusing…right??? No worries though, we just moved our car back a few feet, so she could have HER spot…smh and lol!!!
