• Great Family Vacation

  First time renting through evolve and was a little leery but the entire process was smooth. I love that we can pay interest free over 6 months. No additional fees as with other rental sites. The house was perfect! We had 3 families including 2 kids under 3. The house had everything and was very clean! Crib, high chair, toys for the kids including beach toys. Tons of games and puzzles. The linen service was great because it was less we had to pack. The central air worked amazing especially during a heat wave. Plenty of room for everyone. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Large dining table. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The grill worked great. Really enjoyed the lake for fishing and feeding the local geese and ducks. Large grass area to play baggo. Plenty of parking. I don’t have any complaints but a few suggestions. The blender was broken and we couldn’t make our frozen mudslides (tragic right?). Maybe upgrade some of the beds to kings (although they were comfortable, when I go on vacation I prefer a king and there’s plenty of room for kings in at least 2 of the rooms). Maybe add a portable ac to the garage/game room because with the excessive heat, it felt like a sauna in there. The downstairs toilet needs to be replaced because it constantly runs and the tank does not fill. Taller toilets would be nice. One more thing, I would move the chair away from the upstairs railing because our 2 year old thought it was cool to climb on it and overlook the living room and it’s a major safety hazard! But again, these are all just suggestions, not complaints because we had a great family vacation and enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay again!!

  We booked this house specifically to go to Big Boulder Mountain for skiing and snowboarding with the kids. The location was great, 12 minutes to the mountain. The lake views and wall of windows are better than the pictures. The place was relatively clean but we did find some areas that weren't vacuumed (kids cereal). The garbage disposal was broken and one of the smoke detectors kept beeping at night. The property manager was easy to contact and came out immediately.

  Such a great and quiet place for vacation. House was beautiful.
