Beautiful home that comfortably accomodated 4 adults attending a football game. Designated driveway and garage parking was a plus as the street parking is limited.
We didn't spend a lot of time inside on this trip, but the house was very comfortable. We hung out together in the living room, so having 1 TV was no problem, but may be an issue for some families.
Great location, about 10-15 min from Metlife Stadium and 30 - 60 minutes (depending on traffic) from NYC.
The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, & the "welcome manual" was greatly appreciated! We would definitely stay here again.
Nice location and easy access to NYC. Place was clean & very comfortable. Looks new. Like I previously read, it’s and up and coming neighborhood, so we didn’t venture walking around but felt very self in home. We took Lyft for like $16 to Path each day. We did venture around NJ too so it was nice to already be on that side if the river versus in NYC. Most importantly, we were able to park our car in the garage each night. Inside. Very good. In all cities parking in streets is a crap shoot that someone will bump you. Bc of garage we had no worries. The one TV was actually perfect. Everyone had their own phones and the one TV allowed us to watch a movie each night together (which doesn’t happen at home).

We were doing a college tour road trip for my oldest son & my younger two sons joined us. We wanted a place with a private-secure parking spot since we planned to use mass transit and Lyft for going around. Well, we got a brand new redone garage that fit our truck well and the house (three levels-long term renter at top) we got main floor and downstairs all to ourselves. And the house has been remodeled. Two younger took bunk bed room, oldest son took second room, and I had the entire downstairs to myself. Huge bathroom. Nice back porch but we were always in NYC or NJ seeing things so we never use it.
One review said only one TV. I do t know about you but that was great. Kids today have iPads and phones so it was a great place to watch a late movie for us to gather after sightseeing all day.
We took Lyft ($20 w/ tip) to Newark station and got right on Path most days. We did drive one day to Staten Island to take ferry from there.
The washer and dryer were new and all appliances. A/c worked great and we only used oven once. I think we were the first using the oven.
The neighborhood is up and coming, not there yet like Hoboken & Jersey City, which is why the price was reasonable. But, and a big but, it felt safe in the home and like I said the garage worked out well. We never walked around the area but did Doordash once or twice. Otherwise we were at sites bc there is so much to see & do. The money saved allowed us to see a broadway show & do other things.
This home is great. Pictures are accurate. Location wasPerfect for our New Jersey/New York City/Philadelphia family vacation. Everyhing in this home was pretty much brand new. It’s a remodeled home and is absolutely great. There was a little mix up at checkin but the host was prompt with responding and everything was great after that. The ONLY reason I didn’t give this home a 5 star rating is because there is only one television in the home. It’s in the living room. None of the bedrooms have TVs. And for a family of six that was not good. But we managed. Netflix was provided with the TV. The area around the home is not the best but it’s not the worst either. Never felt any danger and there are food vendors and restaurants close by. All in all our stay was pleasant. If you don’t mind just one TV then this is the PERFECT place for you.
